Viking Speedway is a ˝ mile semi-banked clay oval that that races five WISSOTA sanctioned classes; Late Models, Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks every Saturday night from the end of April through Labor Day, including the Viking Fall Classic in October.

Viking Speedway is located in Alexandria, MN, approximately 3/4 mile west of State Hwy. 29 on County Road 82 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
From I-94:
Take Exit 100, at the stop sign at the top of the ramp, go straight onto County Road 45. Continue on County Road 45 until you get to the T at the next stop sign. This will be the intersection at County Road 82. Turn right on County Road 82. You will be heading east towards Alexandria. Before you come to the next stop light, take a right and you will be entering the Douglas County Fair Grounds.
Driver/Pit Crew sign in area is at the west end of the Grandstands.
Pit Gate opens at 4:00, Grandstands at 4:30, and Racing Action begins at 5:30pm.
After June 1st Racing begins at 6:00PM
Grandstand Admission for regular race events:
Adults (13 to 61) - $11, Seniors (62 & over) - $10, Juniors (10 - 12) - $6, Children (Under 10) Free, Family Package (Parents & ALL under 13) - $25.
Admission prices vary for special events.
Advance Grandstand Tickets can be purchased at Alexandria NAPA, Elden's Food Fair, Casey’s General Stores and Pipeline Travel Plaza.
Attention Drivers:
When you attend your first race for the season, please print the Driver Information/Profile and WISSOTA License application and fill them out completely before you come to the track. The driver profile information must be entered into the computer at the pit sign in area before you will be allowed to race. Thank you for your help.
